The Malem Sit Up Sensor is suitable for monitoring family members suffering from sleep walking, dementia or any other condition that warrants close attention. The alarm/sensor is attached to clothing near the shoulder, for example inside a pajama top pocket or on the inside of a t-shirt. It can also be clipped to the pajama bottom to sound only if the legs straighten to reach the floor. Not for use as detection of bedwetting.
Malem alarms have a convenient modular plug (just like your telephone connector) to allow you to change sensors. Any of the 4 Malem sensors will fit a Malem alarm. Please notify us when you purchase your Malem alarm if you would like this sensor instead of the Easy-Clip sensor that comes packaged with the alarm.
