The WatchMinder3 has two modes, the reminder mode and the training mode. Both modes can be operational at the same time. The reminder mode is useful for remembering specific tasks like taking medication and doing homework or chores. The watch features up to 30 daily alarms, when a pre-selected written message will be displayed on the screen. The training mode is useful for behavior change and self-monitoring. The WatchMinder3 uses a vibration system that is easy to feel and privately alerts the person to do a particular task. The vibration alert lasts 10 seconds and will automatically repeat again in 20 seconds.

The WatchMinder3 is a new, improved version of the WatchMinder2, a product which has since been discontinued. This watch accommodates smaller writs and is lighter and smaller than the previous model. The watch contains a rechargeable lithium battery which can be charged using a computer USB port or a home electrical outlet. The battery needs to be charged for 3-4 hours at a time and we recommend charging often in order to avoid data loss from losing power. The preprogrammed text messages such as "BATHRM" are a nice feature. This is the only reminder device that provides you with messages.
